Like all of my photographic work, these photographs were 100% taken with my camera. The impressionistic transformations shown in my photographs were not created by Photoshop. But directly when photographing. The artistic effects are based solely on movements of the camera during shooting. All photographs shown are based on a single shot, i.e. without double exposures. This shooting technique is called FreeJazz Photography.
Giardino dei Tarocchi is a fantastic park near Garavicchio in the municipality of Capalbio in Tuscany / Italy. The park was designed by the French-American artist Niki de Saint Phalle (1930-2002) and realized from 1979 together with her husband Jean Tinguely and a creative team. The subjects shown here are detail shots. All objects by Niki de Saint Phalle are clearly designed and painted in the original. My pictures show sections of various sculptures in an artfully alienated version. Note also Verzasca II, taken with the same technique.
